Flowers & Plants Crochet Patterns

Crochet plants are the only plants that thrive on neglect. Make a cactus for your desk, a bunch of flowers that lasts forever, or a whole windowsill garden from leftover yarn.

Most of these patterns take an hour or two and use only small amounts of yarn. They make great gifts.

Flowers & Plants FAQ

How do I make a crochet plant stand up?

Add plastic pellets or a small stone (in a bag) to the bottom of the pot, then stuff the rest firmly.

Can I make a bouquet?

Yes. Make flowers with long tails and wrap them around florist wire, then cover the wire with green yarn.

What yarn works best?

Worsted cotton gives crisp leaves and petals. Velvet yarn gives a soft, realistic look.
